Who Will You Vote For Being The Cover Stars On NHL 18

Jaromir Jagr

Florida Panthers forward Jaromir Jagr has accomplished pretty much everything that a hockey player could accomplish during his legendary career. The one thing that he has never accomplished is that he has never been the primary cover athlete for an NHL video game (though he was on a special cover in 2009 that was sold only in the Czech Republic). It’s time for Jagr to get on a video game cover.

Jagr is one of the most popular and respected players in the league. Not only that, he’s one of the greatest hockey players of all-time. The Panthers wing ranks third all-time in career points (1,868), sixth all-time in career assists (1,119), third all-time in goals (749), and eighth all-time in career games played (1,629). Jagr’s 2016-17 season could be his last one in North America.

Even if it isn’t, as one of the league’s most popular and marketable players, he has to be a serious candidate to get on the cover of NHL 18.

Is there a better way to honor that can be said to have been the best wings to slip over, rather than putting Jagr on the cover of the video game? The video game cover will complete Jagr's career. It was very amazing that he had never been covered by the athlete. This must change.

Johnny Gaudreau

If EA Sports chooses to go with a younger player as the cover athlete of NHL 18, one of the players that should get serious consideration is diminutive Calgary Flames forward Johnny Gaudreau.

Gaudreau has quickly emerged as one of the league’s most lovable, popular, and exciting forwards with his electrifying speed and stick handling. With his adorable looks, his great sense of humor, and his million dollar smile, he is also one of hockey’s most marketable stars.

Gaudi as a cover player can also help expand the NHL market. Often, smaller players are ignored. Players like Gaudreau are starting to change this concept and are making hockey more exciting. Despite having a career in the Hall of Fame, advance Martin St. Louis has never got a video game cover. Hope Gaudreau will not suffer the same fate.

Gao De also in his game to show a very creative side. After being invited to the 2014-15 All-Star Game, Gordro wants to light a flames to solve the challenge (for security reasons, the league is 86 '). Nevertheless, he still showed creative aspects, willing to be Flyers forwarded to Jakub Voracek as a pillar.

Erik Karlsson

Florida Panthers striker Jaromir Jagr has done all the things that an ice hockey player can do in a legendary career. One thing he had never done was that he had never been the main athlete of the NHL video game (although he was sold exclusively in 2009 and sold only in the Czech Republic). It's time for Jagr to have a video game cover.

Carlsson stands out in the historic season. He led 82 points ahead of all the defenders and led the league with 66 assists. This is a feat that a little defender completes. Before Carlson's epic 2015-16 season, the last defensive league assists Bobby Orr. This is a very elite company.

Senator Defender is the team that will keep trying to find new prototyping defender. He is the same effective defender on the offensive and defensive ends. In today's NHL, the best way to fight the defense is not to have a lot of defense because of the hockey, and when you lose it, you can quickly recover.

It has been a while since a defenseman has been the cover athlete for a video game. The last one was Dion Phaneuf in NHL ’09. Before him, the previous one was Chris Pronger back in the 2000 installment. It’s time for that to change. Karlsson is a very logical choice for the cover of NHL 18.

Evgeny Kuznetsov

The Washington Capitals are coming off one of the best regular seasons in franchise history. Even after being eliminated by the Pittsburgh Penguins in the second round, they still have a lot of hope for the future thanks to the emergence of center Evgeny Kuznetsov.

The emergence of Kuznetsov started back in the 2014-15 postseason when Kuznetsov scored one of the most exciting Game 7 goals of all-time against the New York Islanders.

Kuznetsov was expected to have a breakout season in 2015-16 after an impressive postseason. Not even the most optimistic of fans could have expected that Kuznetsov would lead the Capitals in points in 2015-16, but that’s precisely what happened.

He had his first 20 goal season while finishing fourth in the league in assists with 57 and ninth in the league in points with 77. Kuznetsov will be turning 24 on May 19, so it’s likely that fans still haven’t seen the best from Kuznetsov.

He has developed into one of the league's most exciting players. Ironically, he seems ready to use his unfair swing and stick handling to replace his hero Pavel Datsyuk as the league's YouTube superstar. If he continues to improve, Kuznetsov will be the NHL 18 excellent athlete. If he can take part in the next season, he can lead the league.
