PUBG Mobile teaming up with first-person shooter Metro Exodus

The latest of PUBG Mobile's collaboration sees the popular battle royale title teaming up with first-person shooter Metro Exodus. This will see the addition of a new game mode called Metro Royale alongside a host of themed content.

With the new Metro Royale themed interface, players can look forward to a host of thrilling features, characters, and rewards amongst other exciting developments. For those who don’t know, Metro is a series of first-person survival horror shooters that is set in a post-apocalyptic Russia. Included in the crossover will be outfits belonging to characters from the game, adventures, and rewards.

The update arrives in the latest version 1.1 of PUBG MOBILE. The new version introduces a new lightweight installation function to Android players with 70% smaller file size with the same gaming experience.

The initial download package is only 610MB and more game content can be downloaded in segments to speed up updates and reduce waiting time. The new lightweight installation function enables players to customize their own game, add or remove sections according to their preference.

Coming back to the update, the partnership will see a new Metro: Exodus mode appear in-game. Called Metro Royale Mode, it adds a dash of survival elements to the game. Players get to play on a new map and get to choose a loadout before heading out. The new map features a number of new locations as well as underground sections where players will be able to ride pushcars.
