Far Cry New Dawn is Having a Rough Time at Retail

New Dawn's first week sales are down 86.5% from last year's Far Cry 5, as reports. You wouldn't expect New Dawn to do quite as well as a full, numbered game in the series, but it's also sold just over a quarter of what Primal did in the same time frame. These are purely sales at UK retail, where New Dawn sold 60% on PlayStation 4, 39% on Xbox One, and around 1% on PC as you'd expect without digital units accounted for.
They include Sam Fisher's outfit from Splinter Cell, a bobblehead version of Vaas from Far Cry 3, a bunch of photo mode poses that reference other Ubisoft games the Assassin's Creed leap of faith is my favorite, and a poster for the rabbids that have become Ubisoft's weird mascots over multiple games. If you're up for more, The Easter Egg Hunter has a video about Hitman 2 that highlights a lot of hidden stuff in that game. There's way more going on with the flamingo costume than I realized. Sharky Boshaw is one of five Specialists whom you can recruit in Far Cry New Dawn; five individuals whom you need to upgrade Prosperity. This group includes Bean, Selene, and returning character Nick Rye.
Sharky can be found to the northeast of Hope County, not far from where you rescue Nick Rye, in fact. He is living at a former Highwaymen base which he calls Chateau Boshaw; a camp which he and Hurk captured and have been staying at, along with Hurk's baby son Blade. While Bean and Selene can be found relatively close to Prosperity, Nick Rye and the fourth Specialist, Sharky Boshaw, are a bit further out, towards the northeast of the county. You should quickly find that you have his location marked on your map, along with a radio message you can listen to. As such, finding him won't be a problem. However, Nick isn't easy to rescue. It's recommended that you upgrade to at least tier 3 weapons, as you'll be facing tier 3 enemies.
That's why I was particularly excited about Far Cry: New Dawn. If you are you looking for more about Buy Far Cry New Dawn Credits check out our website. The post-apocalyptic game takes place after the events of Far Cry 5 when spoiler the fictional town of Hope County is devastated by a nuclear blast. The result is a Mad Max-style wasteland, dotted by pink flowers and filled with destructive vehicles and cobbled together weapons. It felt like the perfect fit for Far Cry's particular blend of mayhem; more importantly, it looked to get away from the empty political imagery of its predecessor in favor of something more befitting a ridiculous action game.
But let's get to the actual crux of it all. The trick to dominating this game is getting that ethanol, and the quicker you get it, the easier Far Cry New Dawn becomes. See, ethanol is needed to upgrade workbenches within the home base of Prosperity. These can range from your weapons crafting bench to your cartography base. That's not inherently a bad thing. New Dawn features the same kind of forward-thinking approach to open-world exploration and progression as Far Cry 5. While main missions are mapped out for you, the discovery of side activities like enemy outposts, treasure hunts, and companion recruitment missions mostly comes from your own organic exploration.
